Since 1980

It all began in 1980 with a club in Chelsea, London. Located in a cul-de-sac, the club developed into one of the most modern of its kind and achieved cult status when Allan Fisher, one of the three founders, took over the company.

1999

Holmes Place came to Switzerland with the opening of four premium fitness clubs in Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich Jelmoli and Zürich Seepark in 1999.

2007-2011

Company clubs: Between 2007 and 2011, Holmes Place shared his expertise with large companies to enable them to set up in-house clubs.

2013

Holmes Place opened Crowne Plaza in 2013 and quickly became a meeting place for all health and fitness lovers from Zurich Altstetten.

2016

New style - new opportunities. A new strategy requires a modern look: to keep Holmes Place an innovative place of wellbeing, we completely modernized all our clubs between 2016 and 2017.
